IVO delivers FREE Child Protection Safeguarding Training

IVO launches new website!

IVO (the Independent and Voluntary Sector’s CYP Workforce Development network for Cornwall) launched it’s new website today. The hope is that the website will allow voluntary sector and public sector individuals to get a better understanding of the work of this group and how it complements the other work going on in Cornwall.

It is also hoped that the website will be able to explain to community groups offering activities and services to Children and Young people how they can benefit form IVO’s work.

IVO initiates SET!

IVO has been working with Children England to host a series of meetings and workshops to implement a Self Evaluation Tool (SET) which scrutinises the relationship between the Voluntary and Community Sector and Cornwall’s Childrens Trust.

Te outcome of the process is an action plan with delegations to both the Childrens Trust and the wider Voluntary Sector to make sure that the relationship is as clear and robust as possible.

It is hoped that the final action plan will be ready in March 2010.
